“Raising Hafiz” Project

“Raising Hafiz” Project

MÜSDAV (International Foundation For Solidarity with Muslim Communities) Religious and Benevolent Services Commission has started a scholarship program for supporting hafiz students under the coordination of the Directorate of General Educational Services of the Presidency of Religious Affairs. The “Raising Hafız” project has started to support qualified youth for the correct understanding and implementation of Islam. The ongoing processes of the project will be carried out in coordination with the Presidency.
The project’s focus is to provide the monthly expenses of at least one of the hafiz students. You can contribute to this project by donating 2500 Yen per month or 30.000 Yen in total for one year. The donations will be provided to students who are financially in need and have education inside the courses affiliated to the Presidency of Religious Affairs. The clothes will be provided during the month of Ramadan and Kurbani.
In addition to this, activities expected to contribute to students’ social, cultural, and academic development will be supported and contribute to solving the problems.

Educational scholarships will be distributed based on their need. The distribution of scholarships will be based on specific criteria. Priority will be given to orphans, children of martyrs, veterans, and their relatives, children of unemployed families, those with a low family income despite having jobs, families who have a reasonable income but a high number of children studying in the household. These students have hafiz education outside the city they live in. The project aims to reach the maximum number of students who want to become Hafiz.

MÜSDAV also has prepared modules that support the development of students in the fields such as music, traditional and contemporary visual arts, science and technology, sports, scientific and academic studies, qiraat (recitation) practices, and more after the Hafiz has completed education. Thus, it is planned to guide Hafiz towards the right professions and interests.
