New seminar series : “5 Azan, 5 Maqam” – Vol.2
“Maqam” here refers to “melodic modes” – the system of playing sound. Appropriate Maqam is also used for the azan that informs the prayer five times a day. In this seminar, we will explain the five azans based on the theory of each Maqam.
