“Re-encounter Al-Ghazālī – The Door to Studying Islam”
Al-Ghazālī has been known as Algazel in Western Europe since the Middle Ages, and there is considerable research about him. In previous studies, he has been recognized as an intellectual speculative theologian or a philosopher, and his thoughts have often been compared with those of al-Asha’rīyah and Avicenna. However, it is not enough to research his faith theory only from a speculative theological perspective, especially because he developed his thoughts through his criticisms against conventional theology in his later years.
