“Souvenirs from Turkey – looking back on 40 years of life in Istanbul”
Mariko Erdogan, who has been involved in Japanese language education for decades in Turkey and was selected as the best lecturer twice at Boğaziçi University, will look back on her 40 years of living in Istanbul. The conversation begins with chai and kafve tools which add colors to everyday life, religious holidays such as Şeker Bayramı, Kurban Bayramı, and Turkish customs.
